(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Tasneef and the national transport authority or nta signed a cooperative agreement regarding implementing the application of safety regulations on small ships that are not covered by international maritime treaties during the second day of the arab maritime forum.
according to the agreement tasneef has been authorised to issue certificates and hold required inspections in addition to implementing of the nta chairman’s decision (no. 3 of 2010) of establishing regulatory list for yachts with 24m of length or more. the agreement was signed by nta general director salem al zaabi and the tasneef chief executive officer rashid al hebsi in the presence of tasneef chief operating officer omar abu omar.
