(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) US Vice President Joe Biden will lead a Presidential delegation to Kiev on June 7 to attend the inauguration of Ukrainian President-elect Petro Poroshenko, it was announced Monday.
The Office of the Vice President said in a statement that Biden will also hold meetings with Ukraine's leaders "to discuss President-elect Poroshenko's agenda, the situation in the east." Biden's discussions will also cover "how the United States can assist Ukraine with fighting corruption, strengthening its democratic institutions, and putting its economy back on a path towards sustainable growth."
