Air New Zealand orders USD1.6b worth Airbus jets


(MENAFN) Air New Zealand announced placing an order of 14 jets with the European plane-maker Airbus, including ten A320neo aircrafts, Khaleej Times reported. According to Air New Zealand chief executive, the order, which worth USD1.6 billion, also includes one A320ceo, and three A321neo aircraft. The planes will be installed on the airline's Tasman and Pacific Island services, he added. Airbus sales chief also said the plane-maker was close to a decision on whether to renovate its 20-year old A330.
