Kia's domestic sales dip 8.2 percent in May
(MENAFN) South Korea's second largest automaker, Kia Motors Corp., said its domestic sales declined 8.2 percent in May over a year earlier, led by decreased production at home, QNA reported.
Meanwhile, the automaker's overseas sales increased 1.5 percent year-on-year last month, according to South Korea's News (Yonhap).
Kia Motors sold a total of 253,618 units last month, 36,252 at home and 217,366 abroad. The company attributed the growth of its overseas sales to a 3.8 percent gain in its overseas production.
