Dubai's Drake & Scull wins USD70m resort project in Jordan


(MENAFN) Dubai-based Drake & Scull International has been granted two major contracts for the Saraya Aqaba Resort, a mixed-used, themed development around a man-made lagoon in Aqaba, Jordan, according to Arabian Business. The USD70.5 million-worth contracts have been awarded especially for Drake & Scull Engineering (DSE), a one of Drake & Scull International subsidiaries. DSE will be responsible for the MEP services of two five-star hotels to be managed by Dubai-based Jumeirah Group, two five-star hotels to be run by Starwood Hotels & Resorts, and 12 luxury villas. Main contractors of Saraya Aqaba Resort will be Arabtec, Consolidated Contractors Company, and Drake & Scull Construction.
