(MENAFN) Danish media reported that the country's retail business is growing at a fast pace than ever amid economic downturn, meanwhile, fewer foreign investors are making their way to the country than in the past, Xinhua reported.
The number of the Danish overseas shops has increased by nearly 25 percent in the last five years, while around 10,364 Danish-owned stores were doing business abroad in 2013, official statistics showed.
"Denmark has large and strong groups with streamlined concepts. Several of the companies are family-owned, and they have had the money and guts to grow when others failed," the head of Retail Institute Scandinavia said.
