GDF Suez buys Ecova for USD335m


(MENAFN) GDF Suez, a French energy group and environmental service supplier announced the purchase of the US-based company Ecova specializing in energy efficiency for USD335 million, Xinhua reported. Suez Executive Vice President in charge of Energy Services stressed the significance of this step, saying it is a major step for the group in energy efficiency. "It will reinforce our expertise in energy data management and combined with our multi-technical know-how in energy efficiency," said added. GDF Suez said the deal would be finalized on July 1, according to a statement posted on its website.
