ProjectOman and TransOman postponed


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) This year's ProjectOman- TransOman exhibition, which was scheduled to take place from June 3 to 5, has been postponed till next year. New dates will be announced by the event organiser at a later date, a press release stated. 

Ashit Barnes, senior manager, OITE Trade Fairs, was quoted in the release as saying, ''The leading exhibition and conference for the transportation and logistics industry in Oman has been rescheduled to 2015 due to recommendations received from key exhibitors. OITE has decided to follow its exhibitors' calls to reschedule the event.

''Oman's transportation and logistics sectors have been witnessing unprecedented growth and the exhibition needs to be relaunched keeping recent developments in mind. TransOman and ProjectOman had attracted over 35 exhibitors from Oman, UAE and across the world. However, key players advised to re-schedule the event to reflect latest developments.''

Barnes said that OITE Trade Fairs is in talks with exhibitors to decide the best possible dates. ''We would like to apologise sincerely for this inconvenience which resulted from some lastminute developments.''
