Jordan Premier Meets British Envoy


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Man may 31 (qna) - jordanian prime minister abdullah ensour met on saturday with baroness morris of bolton the trade envoy of british prime minister david cameron to jordan kuwait and the palestinian territories to discuss jordanian-uk economic and investment ties.

according to jordan's news agency (petra) baroness morris is visiting jordan within the context of meetings and contacts of the strategic economic dialogue initiative launched by jordan's king abdullah ii and british prime minister david cameron to forge closer economic and trade ties between jordan and britain.

during the meeting ensour said jordan is interested in enhancing trade relations with the uk both at bilateral level and through the european union. the jordanian government he added is seeking to create an attractive investment climate urging the british business community to seize the opportunities currently available to do business in jordan and benefit from its unique location to access regional markets.

the british envoy said her country is willing to further cement relations with jordan mainly in the economic and trade fields. (qna)
