(MENAFN - Khaleej Times) Senior telangana rashtra samithi (trs) leader and legislator k t rama rao sought to reassure industrialists in the new state that the first government of telangana would strive to create a conducive atmosphere for the rapid development of the industrial and real estate sectors.

rao trs president k chandrasekhar rao’s son who is expected to play a key role in the government revealed that the party which will take over the reins of the new state on june 2 had a clear roadmap for industrial development and to make telangana a vibrant and progressive state. “there are challenges but we are ready for it and we will take you along with us on the path to progress since we believe in inclusive governance” rao told industrialists at what is being seen as a confidence-building meeting in hyderabad.

assuring complete support from the government for industrialists and builders the sircilla legislator seeking everyone’s cooperation said as per the plans chalked out by the party telangana would see rapid development in the next five years. “i do admit that there would be some power problem but that too would be taken care of in three years time. several experts in various fields including power water and irrigation have been roped in by the party to overcome such problems” he said.

ridiculing the claims of seemandhra chief minister-designate n chandrababu naidu that it was he who developed hyderabad during his nine-year rule rao said no single individual or party could claim credit for the capital’s development. “don’t get carried away by the false propaganda being unleashed by some leaders with vested interests. the development of hyderabad which has a history of 426 years did not happen overnight but was gradual over several decades” the trs leader asserted.

“hyderabad is a cosmopolitan city a mini-india and it belongs to everyone. it does not belong to any single region religion caste or community” he said adding that the trs government party would not tolerate anyone who tries to create any kind of disturbance in the capital. “there will be security for all but the government will take tough action against anyone who tries to disturb the peace” he said.

ktr as the trs leader is known revealing the party’s plans for development of the new state said: “hyderabad has evolved as a major hub in various fields including information technology and pharmaceuticals. it has a strong knowledge base and well-established infrastructure including the outer ring road (orr). as part of our plans to further expand the city we intend to develop a regional ring road (rrr) on the other side of the orr and connect the two with radial road network. between the orr and the rrr we will develop clusters of industries along with satellite townships” he said.
