Emir to discuss Emiratisation in private sector


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The next emir boardroom briefing which is being held in association with the dubai economic council (dec) will be hosted in burj al arab on june 2 2014.

shaikh nahyan bin mubarak al nahyan uae minister for culture youth and community development will meet with over 120 senior executives from some of the world’s biggest multinationals to discuss emiratisation in the private sector.

“getting our young people into exciting roles in the private sector is a top priority for the uae government. emir boardroom offers a platform for senior members of the government to listen to the collective thoughts of private sector leaders which creates a better channel of communication that ultimately benefits both the uae and the private sector” said shaikh nahyan.

the objective of emir’s next strategy briefing is to bring together senior executives and high-profile policymakers in a closed-door environment for a candid discussion on how to help more uae nationals into private companies.

“given that emiratisation is a top priority for the dubai economic council we are delighted to partner with emir for its next strategy briefing. the event will host leaders from the biggest multinationals large local companies and senior government officials” said hani al hamli secretary general of the dec.

“being a strategic partner for the government of dubai in economic-decision making and given its membership that encompasses representatives of both public and private sectors dec is keen to meet the expectation of the uae leadership in emiratisation domain through promoting the advantages of emiratising the private sector and the recent prominent initiative of ‘abshir’ from both economic and social perspectives” al hamli added.
