Malaysian unemployment rate down 3 percent in March


(MENAFN) According to the Malaysian Labor Force Statistics release, Malaysia's unemployment rate dropped to 3 percent in March this year, QNA reported. This decreased is down 0.2 percent compared to the previous month, in which unemployment rate stood at 3.2 percent, figures showed. According to the report, as of March 2014, the Malaysian labor force was 13,843,500, with 13,427,800 employed and 415,700 unemployed. Malaysia's Prime Minister said in his twitter update: "I thank all sectors for working hard to maintain our job market's stability."
