Twelve Syrians killed in car blast in Idlib


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Twelve people were killed in a booby-trap vehicle explosion in Al-Mazoot shopping area in Idlib governorate, northwest Syria, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said Wednesday. The death toll might increase further since at least 20 injured people are in critical condition and some others are still missing. Meanwhile, mortar rounds fell on various neighborhoods in Al-Maliki, Al-Najma, Al-Ghassani area and Baghdad street in central Damascus, killing and injuring dozens of people and damaging several buildings. SOHR added that Al-Sabe'e area in Herat witnessed large deployment of regime forces, including raid operations to a number of residential buildings. On another front, heavy clashes taken place between rebels and regime forces.
