(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Sleuths from the Directorate General for Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances have arrested two Asian nationals and seized 671 heroin capsules in a raid carried out in Ruwi.
An ROP source said that the directorate had received information about people smuggling drugs into the sultanate.
''The accused were kept under surveillance following the tip-off and their residence raided, leading to their arrest,'' the source said.
Their case has been referred to the Public Prosecution for trial.
