Three H1N1 deaths in May, no MERS cases, says Oman


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The Ministry of Health (MoH) has said that 82 new cases of H1N1, including three deaths, have been registered in May this year. An MoH statement said that some cases required no treatment and others received appropriate care in hospitals.

MoH stated that no new cases of the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (MERS-CoV) were registered this month. The statement added that the ministry was monitoring the situation through its epidemiological surveillance system and taking necessary precautions. MoH has called for support from people to combat the disease by following hygiene requirements.
