(MENAFN) Doha new multi-billion dollar airport is ready to install Qatar Airways operations, reported by Arab News.
The Mideast airline assures the significance of this move for the 17 years old national carrier.
A ceremonial Qatari flight landed in the airport last month, passengers on the first flight were greeted wit dates, roses, chocolate and Qatari flags.
It is noted that Qatar has invested profoundly in its aviation sector, as its new international airport cost at least USD15 billion.
