Qatar's trade with GCC countries reaches USD11b in 2013


(MENAFN) Trade balance between the State of Qatar and the GCC countries was estimated at USD11.88 billion in 2013, according to Qatar News Agency. Qatar has exported what worth USD8.232 billion during the year, while imports reached USD3.649 billion. HE Minister of Economy and Trade Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani said in a major exhibition that advanced joint work and economic integration are expected to be held in the country after the exhibition. His Excellency added that the convening of representatives of the GCC private sector will boost joint investments and trade.
