Oman's His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said issues two Royal Decrees issued


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has issued two Royal Decrees – on setting up an embassy in Mauritania and granting Oman's permanent delegate to UNESCO the title of ambassador.

Royal Decree 29/2014:  After perusal of the Basic Law of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96, of the Foreign Ministry Regulation Act promulgated by Royal Decree 32/2008 and in public interest, it has been decreed:

Article one: Establishes the Embassy of Oman in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.

Article two: This decree shall be published in the official gazette and take effect on the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree 30/2014: After perusal of the Basic Law of the State promulgated by Royal Decree No 101/96, Foreign Ministry Regulation Act promulgated by Royal Decree  32/2008 and in public interest, it has been decreed:

Article one: Dr Sameerah bint Mohammed bin Mosa al Mosa, the sultanate's permanent delegate to UNESCO shall be granted the title of ambassador.

Article two: This decree shall be published in the official gazette and take effect from the date of its issuance.
