(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Parliament and government have voiced consensus over amendments introduced to the draft law on the transportation authority.
The consensus came during a meeting of the National Assembly committee on public utilities, held on Sunday to discuss suggested changes to the bill.
Several amendments requested by the government to the draft law were put into consideration during the committee session, the committee head, MP Adel Al-Kharafi, told reporters following the meeting.
A relevant consensual formula was reached thanks to the cooperation of the Ministry of Public Works with the parliamentary committee, he said, adding that joint meetings would continue until final amendments were agreed.
