(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) An integrated smartphone application, which will provide the real estate price index and other information related to the real estate sector in Oman, will be launched in the coming months.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the Oman Real Estate Conference on Sunday, H E Eng Mohammed Salim Khalifa al Busaidi, chairman of ORA, said, ''Earlier the idea was to create only a price index for the real estate market. But now the plan is to launch an integrated project designed and controlled by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) - an application for smartphone devices that will provide everything you need to know about real estate in the sultanate.''
He said that the application will be launched in cooperation with NCSI, the Ministry of Housing and ORA. ''This application will provide information on products, places, area, reliability, prices and companies. It will be a professional application useful for everyone. The launch may take a few months, but will be within this year,'' H E Busaidi said.<
