China's trade deficit hits USD8.9b in April


(MENAFN) Reports showed that China has registered a deficit of USD8.9 billion in its international trade services in April, Xinhua reported. According to data released by the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, the nation's total revenues from service trade in April reached USD20.2 billion, while expenditure hit USD29.1 billion. The Administration said that the country's total deficit in international service trade reached USD41.7 billion in the January-April period of 2014. It is noted that trade in services includes areas such as transport, travel, telecommunications, finance and construction.
