(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The muttahida qaumi movement (mqm) has announced to stage a rally to express solidarity with the party?s london-based chief altaf hussain on may 25.
“the citizens of karachi will come out in support of ‘leader of the movement’ altaf hussain on may 25. it’s going to be a landmark event the preparations for which have been completed satisfactorily” said mqm’s senior leader khalid maqbool siddiqui addressing a press conference here at tibet centre.
he said that the rally would start its cross-city run from tibet centre in saddar area but he had no idea where it would end.
“the rally will originate from this point but nobody knows about where it culminates” he said meaningfully.
according to analysts siddiqui’s metaphoric statement alludes that the mqm’s protest movement that will be launched on sunday is not going to end anytime soon. — online
