Israeli Settlers Invade Palestinian Farmlands Near Hebron


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Bron may 22 (qna) - a number of extremist israeli settlers invaded palestinian farmlands east of yatta town south of the southern west bank city of hebron and burnt palestinian wheat and fodder planted by a palestinian in his own land the international middle east media center (imemc) reported.



rateb jabour coordinator of the popular committee against the wall and settlements stated that dozens of settlers of the avi gal and mitzpe yair illegal settlements invaded farmlands belonging to a resident identified as khaled mousa an-najjar and burnt them.

jabour denounced the attack and said it aims at inflicting maximum losses in an attempt to make the palestinians lose their only source of livelihood and to force them out of their homes and lands.



he added that the attack is part of ongoing violations and assaults carried out by extremist settlers in different parts of the occupied west bank including in and around occupied east jerusalem.



jabour urged the palestinian leadership to provide their utmost support to the palestinians and to act on the international level to end the repeated assaults carried out by fanatic settlers and the israeli army in different parts of occupied palestine. (qna)
