(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Za may 22 (qna) - israeli authorities today partially opened the karem abu salem crossing to allow the entry of around 420 trucks loaded with goods and aids into the gaza strip.
palestinian authority's liaison official raed fattouh said that the occupation authorities will allow the entry of 420 trucks loaded with aids and goods for commercial agricultural and transport sectors including 50 trucks of gravel for unrwa projects and 35 trucks of gravel for undp projects as well as 30 trucks for water authority projects.
the israeli authorities also will allow the pumping of quantities of industrial diesel for power plant gasoline transportation diesel and cooking gas.
karam abu salem is the only commercial crossing through which goods and fuel enter the gaza strip and the occupation authorities close it on friday and saturday of each week. (qna)
