Oman- Four Royal Decrees issued on Arab Convention norms

(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said on Wednesday issued four Royal Decrees.

Royal Decree 25/2014: Ratifying the Arab Convention on the Transfer of Inmates of Punitive and Correctional Institutions within framework of implementation of penal provisions.

Pursuant of the Basic Law of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96, and of the Arab Convention on the Transfer of Inmates of Punitive and Correctional Institutions within the framework of the implementation of the penal provisions signed in Cairo on December 21, 2010, and based on public interest, it has been decreed as follows:

Article one: Ratifies the convention herein referred to according to the annexed formula.

Article two: Concerned bodies shall deposit instruments of ratification of the convention according to its provisions.

Article three: This Decree shall be published in the official gazette and take effect on the date of issuance.

 

Royal Decree 26/2014: Endorsing accession of the sultanate to the Convention on the Prohibition of the Use, Stockpiling, Production and Transfer of Anti-Personnel Mines and Their Destruction.

Pursuant of the Basic Law promulgated by the Royal Decree 101/96, the Regulation Act of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs promulgated by Royal Decree 32/2008, Convention on Prohibition of the Use, Stockpiling, Production and Transfer of Anti-Personnel Mines and Their Destruction and based in public interest, it has been decreed as follows.

Article one: Endorses the accession of the Sultanate of Oman to the convention herein referred to according to the annexed formula.

Article two: Concerned bodies shall deposit the instruments of ratification of the convention referred in accordance to its provisions.

Article three: This Decree shall be published in the official gazette and take effect on the date of its issuance.

 

Royal Decree 27/2014: Ratifying the Arab Convention Against Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing.

Pursuant of the Basic Law of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96, the Arab

Convention against Money Laundering and Terror Financing signed in Cairo on December 21, 2010 and based on public interest it has been decreed  as follows:

Article one: Ratifies the convention herein referred to according to the annexed formula.

Article two: Concerned bodies shall deposit the instruments of ratification of the convention according to its provisions.

Article three: This Decree shall be published in the official gazette and take effect on the date of issuance.

 

Royal Decree 28/2014: Ratifies the Arab Convention Against Corruption.

Pursuant of the Basic Law of the State promulgated by Royal Decree 101/96, the Arab Convention Against Corruption signed in Cairo on December 21, 2010 and based on public interest, it as been decreed as follows:

Article one: Ratifies the convention herein referred to according to the annexed formula.

Article two: Concerned bodies shall deposit the instruments of ratification of the convention according to its provisions.

Article three: This decree shall be published in the official gazette and take effect on the date of issuance.

His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said on Wednesday issued four Royal Decrees.
