(MENAFN) The National statistics institute Istat said that Italy's industrial orders and revenues increased in March compared to those of February, Xinhua reported. According to Istat, industrial orders in March rose 1.3 percent over February, while revenues increased by 0.3 percent. Istat noted that the growth of industrial orders was mainly driven by foreign demand, registering a 0.2 percent decline in domestic market and a 3.5 percent increase in non-domestic markets. On the other hand, the positive trend of revenues mainly resulted from improvements in the domestic market, increasing 0.9 percent in national sales and down 0.8 percent in foreign sales.
