Asian stocks end session lower

Asian stock ended its third trading session this week low, after the Bank of Japan failed to give more monetary stimulus while economy showed that indicators withstand the first raise in sales tax since 1997.

BoJ held a meeting today to announce its monetary policy, whereas it renewed its commitment to doubling its monetary base from 60 to 70 trillion per year. In the mean time, the bank added that Japan’s economy has completely recovered in spite of raising sales taxes.

- The MSCI Asia Pacific Index rose 0.20% to 946.70 at 12:54 in Tokyo.

- Nikkei 225 ended 0.24% lower at 14042.17.            

- Topix closed 0.29% lower at 1150. 05.              

- Shanghai Composite closed 0.84% higher at 2024.57.

- Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 0.08% higher at 5424.57.

- New Zealand’s NZX 50 closed 0.51% lower at 5108.57.

- Kospi closed 0.12% lower at 946.04.
