(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) Bank Muscat, the flagship financial services provider in the sultanate, in association with Visa, announced the second batch of 21 winners to experience the thrills and excitement of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

In all, 66 all-expenses-paid packages are on offer for Bank Muscat customers to witness the 2014 FIFA World Cup matches, including the finals, in Brazil, in association with Visa. In the first draw, 16 customers won the allexpenses- paid 2014 FIFA World Cup packages, which include airline tickets, match ticket, fourday and three-night hotel accommodation and sight-seeing in Brazil.

The 2014 FIFA World Cup package winners were felicitated at a ceremony hosted at the bank's head office, attended by Maria Feliciana Ortig?o, deputy head of mission, Embassy of Brazil, Inkawan Dharma Jusi, general manager “ retail banking, and Said al Badai, DGM “ branches.

The exciting promotion, targeted at rewarding the bank's Al Mazyona customers, Visa debit and Visa credit cardholders, asalah Priority Banking and mobile banking customers, started on February 1 and runs till May 31, during which one more draw will be held to select the remaining 2014 FIFA World Cup package winners. Said al Badai said, ''Bank Muscat congratulates the second batch of 2014 FIFA World Cup package winners in Oman. This is indeed a very special opportunity for football enthusiasts and we believe they will fully enjoy the experience.

We encourage all bank customers to increase their winning chances through transactions linked to Visa cards, Al Mazyona savings scheme, mobile banking and asalah Priority Banking.'' Taher al Rashdi, a package winner from the Ministry area branch said, ''I am greatly honoured in winning this lifetime chance to experience the 2014 FIFA World Cup excitement in Brazil.

This is an unprecedented campaign, which has whipped up the passion for football and I thank Bank Muscat for the unique initiative rewarding football enthusiasts in Oman. I consider myself fortunate to win this exciting 2014 FIFA World Cup package. I congratulate all winners and thank Bank Muscat for launching this unique promotion in Oman to facilitate an unforgettable World Cup experience.''

Bank Muscat, in association with Visa, has been granted an exclusive positioning among 20 global banks chosen as official Retail Bank of 2014 FIFA World Cup. Bank Muscat is the only financial institution in Oman to receive this unique privilege. Bank Muscat has lined up a series of campaigns and activities across Oman to build up and sustain the 2014 FIFA World Cup excitement in Oman.

The retail banking products of the bank are linked to the campaign, thereby widening the bank's touch points to the 2014 FIFA World Cup excitement. Branded merchandise and memorabIlia, including 2014 FIFA World Cup keychains, football, pens, mascot and trophy are given away during promotional activities in malls and hypermarkets.

The bank has also launched an exciting competition on social media as part of the 2014 FIFA World Cup promotion. The 2014 FIFA World Cup marketing promotional campaign by the bank is built up on the powerful articulation of the theme - Bringing You the Colours of the World'.
