New Zealand's service sector expands in April


(MENAFN) According to New Zealand's latest performance of services index (PSI), the country's service sector expanded in April, marking the fastest rate since November 2007, Xinhua reported. Business New Zealand chief executive said in a statement that the accelerating rate of expansion was another sign of the country's economic growth. "In recent months, the key sub-indicators of activity/sales and new orders/business have provided a strong platform for the overall result," he added. All five main sub-indices were expanded in April, with new orders/business on 65.7, activity/sales on 62.2, employment on 53. 4, supplier deliveries on 55.8 and stocks/inventories on 55.6.
