New book claims Flight MH370 was accidentally shot down

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) A book on theories about what might happened to the aircraft says the plane may have been shot down during a military exercise.

a book on what might have happened to malaysia airlines flight mh370 has hit the stands and it has put forward a chilling theory. among the many possibilities mentioned in the book is one that suggests the aircraft may have been shot down accidentally during a joint thai-american military exercise in the south china sea adding that rescuers were then 'possibly led in the wrong direction to cover up the mistake'.

the plane went missing since march 8 and apart from a few pings believed to be coming from the black box there is still no clue about its whereabouts.

the book 'flight mh370: the mystery' written by nigel cawthorne describes how a man while working on an oil rig in the ocean at about the same time the plane's transponder went off saw a burning plane and how this was right near the military exercise being conducted with personnel from various other countries according to the daily mail.

'after all no wreckage has been found in the south indian ocean which in itself is suspicious' the book said.
