(MENAFN - Arab News) Eastern province gov. prince saud bin naif inaugurated the governmental directorates complex in jubail on wednesday in the presence of prince saud bin abdullah bin thunayan al-saud chairman of the royal commission for jubail and yanbu.

the complex located between jubail industrial city and jubail city will be home to a number of governmental directorates.

the complex has a building for the general court that consists of three floors in a total area of five thousand square meters. the building was designed after a thorough study of court buildings in different regions in the kingdom and king abdullah's project for developing the judicial system.

the building consists of three entrances: the main entrance is for visitors an entrance for judges and a separate entrance for convicts to maintain their privacy. the building also has nine fully-equipped courts.

the building was designed to serve the needs of the court administration for the next thirty years. the complex includes a notary building that consists of three floors with a total area of 3430 square meters. the building contains eight offices of notaries with all the necessary services.

in addition the complex or the governmental offices include a building for the passport department on a total area of six thousand square meters. the building consists of two floors and offers its services to citizens and residents.

it is equipped with a reception and administrative offices. the ground floor has two sections for women the elderly and people with special needs.

also there is the red crescent building that consists of offices for staff a modern communication room and services offices to respond to highway accidents speedily. the bureau of investigation and prosecution building consists of two floors built on a total area of 3660 square meters.

the building has an entrance for employees and an entrance for the cars of detainees. also it contains two suites: one for interrogation rooms for men and women with a special place for the mahram and a lineup room for identifying suspects while the other suite is devoted to the detention of suspects.

the building contains the administrative offices with the necessary services.
