Bernama Documentary Film Pitches for Malaysia Tourism


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Ala lumpur may 18 (qna) - a documentary film 'malaysia's 1001 destinations' produced by malaysia's national news agency bernama is raising the pitch for the country's inward bound tourism.

astro's 502 channel and bernamatv broadcast the film part of visit malaysia year 2014.

bernama editor-in-chief zulkefli salleh said the documentary programme is produced in collaboration with tourism malaysia.

irst broadcasted on may 16 at 9.30pm.

he said the half-hour programme aims to encourage locals to travel within the country.

"the first episode takes viewers to several interesting places in kuala lumpur a city of skyscrapers. featuring a different celebrity host weekly it will also cover selangor melaka negeri sembilan sabah and perak" said zulkefli.

divided into three segments namely 'destinasiku terbaik di destinasi dan panduan' it also has a quiz for the audience.

the programme broadcasted on fridays is repeated on saturdays at noon sundays at 4pm and tuesdays at 11am. (qna)
