(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) Bank Muscat, the flagship financial services provider, as part of its commitment to road safety in Oman has launched a campaign to inculcate responsible driving behaviour by employees.
The Drive Safely' campaign was launched at a ceremony attended by AbdulRazak Ali Issa, chief executive, and Lt Col (Engineer) Ali Sulayem Jameel al Falahi, director at the traffic engineering department of the Royal Oman Police. The campaign seeks to powerfully communicate the message of safe driving and thereby endorse the bank's commitment to the national road safety initiative directed by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said.
The Drive Safely' campaign is targeted at raising awareness on responsible driving behaviour among the bank employees, their families and across society in order to create a safe driving environment in Oman. AbdulRazak Ali Issa said, ''The Drive Safely' initiative is a natural progression of the health and safety measures adopted by the bank. The bank considers employees as the most valued asset and any loss or disruptions caused by accidents involving staff lead to setbacks for the affected employees as well as the bank.
