Iran's transportation of goods hits 863.000 tons in 1 month


(MENAFN) Iran has transported as much as 863.000 tons of commodities through its borders in one month to April 21, according to Iran Daily. Director general of Iran"s Road Maintenance and Transportation Organization said that of this figure, 820,000 tons pertained to roads, or 95 percent of total transported goods, and 42,000 tons (5 percent) to railroads. Non-oil goods included home appliances, cotton, construction materials and cargo and passenger vehicles.
