(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Ala lumpur may 15 (qna) - malaysian exports of lamps and lighting fittings as well as parts to germany between january and february this year grew by 33.93% compared to same period of 2013.
in a statement the malaysia external trade development corporation (matrade) said last year exports grew by 35.4% malaysian news (bernama) reported.
it said the latest statistics indicate that malaysia was fast consolidating its position as a leading exporter of lamps lighting fittings and parts products to germany.
in 2013 the value of germany's total import of lighting products grew by 5.17% largely due to higher market demand with malaysia as the largest growing individual source during this period.
malaysia displaced the top three exporting countries namely china austria and italy in terms of the export growth percentage. (qna)
