UAE setting for Akshay's next film

(MENAFN- Arab News) Word about town is that actor akshay kumar will soon be taking up short term residence in the uae as he will be shooting his forthcoming film 'baby' in the majestic capital of the emirates abu dhabi as well as in beautiful oman. the film will see the ever-versatile kumar team up with director neeraj pandey to create what is tipped to be an exhilarating action-thriller. their previous partnership gave the entertaining heist film that was 'special 26'.

the plot for 'baby' is said to revolve around two smugglers who start a new business in katmandu after duping people in india's bustling metro city of mumbai. although any further details about the film are being kept under wraps the film is tipped to be released in time for india's republic day 2015 on jan. 26.

kumar has been an extremely busy man of late; whilst he has been tirelessly shooting for 'baby' he has also been focused on his upcoming film 'gabbar' and promotional work for holiday: a soldier is never off duty releasing worldwide on june 6 2014 through reliance entertainment.

this is not the first time that bollywood producers have chosen to film at stunning locations in the vibrant and traditional middle east. kumar himself has previously shot scenes there for 'khiladi 786' and 'once upon a time in mumbai dobaara demonstrating the ever-growing popularity of the region as a destination for the glamorous world of bollywood film.

the shooting of 'baby' in the middle east will also give kumar's immense fan base there a chance to catch a glimpse of the star in action.
