(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Saudi Crown Prince and Deputy Premier Salman Bin Abdulaziz discussed recent regional and international developments with visiting US Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Tuesday.
Other issues discussed included bilateral relations and means to support them.
Hagel is currently touring the Middle East region, as he will also visit Jordan and Israel.
In Jeddah, Hagel will participate in a US-Gulf Cooperation Council defense ministerial meeting, an initiative that he called for at the Manama dialogue in December of last year.
The meeting will be the first US-GCC defense ministers' forum since 2008.
