Two Lebanese persons injured by Syrian Army fire


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Two Lebanese people were injured in an exchange of fire with the Syrian Army forces during attempts to cross borders in the northern Wady Khaled area, Lebanese news agency (NNA) said Monday. "Syrian soldiers opened fire Monday on two Lebanese citizens from Wady Khaled, for illegally trying to cross with their motorcycle the borders to the inside Syrian territories," NNA said. The statement noted that two were critically injured and transferred to a hospital in the north. Lebanese-Syrian borders are witnessing increased trespassing.
