Project Qatar exhibition kicks off with 14 Kuwaiti firms


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The 11th International Construction Technology and Building Materials Exhibition (Project Qatar 2014) kicked off on Monday with participation of 14 Kuwaiti construction companies. After the inauguration, Qatar Minister of Economy and Trade Sheikh Ahmad Al-Thani said in a statement that the four-day event is Qatar's largest construction gathering of the year, representing the remarkable construction sector growth being witnessed in Qatar. Sheikh Ahmad said that this year's exhibition witnessed an increase of international participation due to previously announced projects in Qatar. The minister added that most of the companies participating in the exhibition have excellent construction capabilities technologies. Organizer of Project Qatar George Ayache said "Project Qatar 2014 will mark a significant evolution in terms of added value content, demonstrations and the diversity of the sectors showcased by the exhibitors. "We wish everyone participating in this year's event a successful and prosperous experience," Ayache added. Featuring over 2,100 exhibitors and 24 international pavilions, with an anticipated 45,000 professional visitors from 130 countries, Project Qatar 2014 takes place at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC), from 12-15 May.
