(MENAFN) Apple is to launch the new edition of its popular iPhone series, iPhone 6, a month earlier than industry watchers were estimating, Xinhua reported.
Media reported that an 11.9cm screen version of iPhone 6 will be available in stores by August, without providing any further details about the markets which will receive it first.
Reports say that a 13.9cm or 14.2cm version will be revealed in September of the current year, as the iPhone 5 series was previously.
According to watchers, increasing the iPhone screen size would help Apple regain market share from its rivals such as Samsung.
