Ma will present the topic: 'Deployment options to meet wireless network coverage and capacity demands in high density areas', and will also be one of the panellists discussing 'WiFi: friend or foe?'
"With the steady rise of the availability of more affordable smart mobile devices in the UAE, the need for more data capacity is driving operators in the region to speed up the launch of LTE networks, and also explore different options to offload the existing 3G networks. There is no one-fit-all solution, but finding the right approach for different scenarios has become the key to suffice the hunger for a faster mobile network, in the most effective and cost-efficient way," said Ma.
Comba currently supplies Etisalat with in-building solutions, for indoor coverage and includes support for different technologies such as WCDMA, HSDPA, HSUPA and LTE. The company is one of the official suppliers of turnkey in-building DAS and WiFi for several stadiums at the upcoming 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. It was previously named one of the official suppliers of turnkey wireless network systems at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.
LTE MENA takes place on May 12th until 13th at the Conrad Hotel in Dubai.
