(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Suspected Houbara Bustard feed container was released after being "thoroughly' inspected, Director General of the Administration of Customs Khaled Al-Saif said Sunday.
"After a thorough inspection, the shipment was released and turned out to be legitimate, countering reports of possible smuggling of amounts of cash and antiques in the container," noted Al-Saif in a statement.
"The Administration deals with any piece of information seriously, regardless of its source, and we deal with everyone in the same strict manner that would guarantee soundness of the inspection process," he stressed.
Reports of the suspected shipment were all over social media outlets yesterday.
