(MENAFN - Khaleej Times) Angelina says couple are thinking of a joint venture

angelina jolie says she plans to cut back on movie roles to concentrate on her humanitarian work though she is mulling an onscreen reunion with partner brad pitt.

attending a kensington palace costume event for her new disney movie maleficent with pitt jolie told reporters that “we are thinking about it.” they haven’t appeared in a movie together since mr. and mrs. smith in 2005.

but she said at a press conference on friday that her priority was her work as an envoy for the u.n. high commissioner for refugees and the preventing sexual violence initiative.

she said acting was “going to be taking more of a back seat.”

“i’m sure there will be a few more films. but i am happy i am able to be selective and have fun with characters like this but i would like to focus on writing and directing and above all i would like to focus more on my work with the u.n. and psvi” jolie said.

jolie was joined by pitt and 12-year-old son maddox on the blue carpet for thursday evening’s maleficent event.

jolie plays the eponymous sorceress in the fairy-tale film which was also a family affair. the couple’s 5-year-old daughter vivienne makes her screen debut as the young sleeping beauty.

jolie said she loved bringing her kids on set: “they lived on the fairy mound. they hung out with elle (fanning). it was magic.”

stressed on set

however the actress also said her children’s visit to location “stressed” her out so much that she won’t do it again.

“brad and i made the decision that we wouldn’t keep them from sets and the fun of making movies but we wouldn’t (glorify it either).

“we wouldn’t make it a good thing or a bad thing. but i would really prefer they do something else. after two days of it brad and i were so stressed we never wanted to do it again” she said.
