Car explosion kills six Syrians in Hama

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) At least six people were killed and scores injured Saturday when a booby-trapped car exploded near a security checkpoint in the central province of Hama, said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR). The SOHR expected that the death tally would go up as the many of the injured are in critical conditions. It, however, did not mention details about the identities of the victims and how many civilians among them. The SOHR also reported that five missiles launched by the opposition fighters fell on the farmland of Karsana town, which is inhabited by Alawite minority, leading to material damages.
