(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) Oman Airports Management Co. (OAMC) has recently introduced four machines for the assessment of passengers' satisfaction with the Muscat International Airport services.
The company has taken this step in a bid to involve passengers travelling via Muscat International Airport and know their views and opinions about the level of services provided, and whether they have any proposals regarding the upgrade of a specific service at the airport. With these machines, two of which were installed in the departure terminal and the other two in the arrival terminal, passengers can communicate their feedback in a simple and automated way by the press of a button.
Then, their options are registered and kept on record. Since their introduction two months ago, the new machines have been widely used by a great number of passengers, a company official source said. The company is keen on developing and upgrading this concept in the next stage to include a larger number of services, the source added. It is also studying and evaluating all suggestions to improve the services and meet the passengers' various needs.
The source has confirmed that the company takes the issue of service upgrade very seriously, based on its conviction of the necessity to keep pace with the progress of the aviation industry on the one hand, and improve the services on the other. This is what the company has been working on during the previous period, the source said.
During the past periods, the source stated, OAMC has updated and developed its services from the time the passenger enters the airport premises, up to the departure lounges and free shop outlets.
