(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The first-of-its-kind ?luxury all inclusive? concept introduced in the uae at rixos bab al bahr ras al khaimah is bringing instant success for the resort by pushing the occupancy level beyond expectations according to its top manager.

“since we opened doors to guests in february this year the occupancy as well as guest satisfaction response has been extremely delightful” general manager of the rixos bab al bahr haytham omar told khaleej times at the arabian travel market.

he said the market share of his resort has also been growing consistently within the commonwealth of independent states (cis) and larger parts of eastern europe. “but there is always scope for more and yes we will continue to better the performance.”

about the occupancy levels achieved since the resort’s opening in mid-february he said: “we have targeted annual occupancy level of 60 per cent and so far we have achieved an average occupancy of over 72 per cent. the business for the rest of 2014 looks promising as we strive to continue the momentum.”

regarding the “all-inclusive concept introduced at the turkish brand’s property for the first time in the uae he said the idea has been well received in the region and the response is overwhelming. “since the concept is very family-oriented we were certain that it will be a big hit with families looking for that perfect value for money holiday. the response from gcc as well as overseas market has been every encouraging” he said.

the antalya-based luxury hospitality brand has two properties in the uae — rixos the palm dubai and rixos bab al bahr ras al khaimah which has 655 keys. the turkish brand intends to launch 11 properties this year while another 14 will be added by the end of 2015 bringing the its hospitality portfolio to 45 in next two years by launching new projects in turkey europe cis states and middle east.

to a question about the opening of third building of rixos bab al bahr he said: “we intend operations for the third pyramid after ramadan.” the property comprises of three pyramid-shaped buildings and currently two buildings are open for guests.

he said the atm is an excellent platform to officially launch the resort and its ‘all inclusive’ concept to its travel partners within the region. “we will underline our presence at the atm through our stand our sales support material and on-site as well as print branding during the event.

“we will make the most of this opportunity to intermingle with our travel partners who we are extremely grateful to for the immense support they have extended to us all through” omar concluded.
