(MENAFN - Khaleej Times) And pakistan will entertain new zealand in november-december.

the ipl came and rocked in the desert and returned to india. cricket fans may have felt the absence after the road show left the uae shores. but fret not. there is still a plethora of cricket to look forward to.

after the testing summer the uae will play host to the pakistan-australia series which will be new pakistan coach waqar younis’ first home assignment on his second spell at the helm. after pakistan tour sri lanka in august to play two tests and three odis the uae will witness a top quality battle between pakistan and australia in october-november.

and pakistan will entertain new zealand in november-december.

pakistan will take on australia for the first time in four years where they will play two tests three odis and a twenty20 international.

after that pakistan will play host to the kiwis for three tests five odis and a twenty20 international the pakistan cricket board (pcb) announced on wednesday.

australia’s tour of pakistan begins with the t20 international in dubai on october 3. abu dhabi will host the first of the three odis on october 5. sharjah will be the venue for the second odi on october 8 with the final odi to be played in dubai on october 10.

australia will play a four-day warm-up game against pakistan ‘a’ in sharjah before the test segment. the first test will be played in dubai from october 20 to 24 while abu dhabi will host the second test from october 28 to november 1 to bring the curtains down on the tour.

the last time the two teams had met in a series was in the uae in august-september 2012. australia had won the odis 2-1 while pakistan had lapped up the t20 international 2-1. the last time the two teams met in a test series was in july 2010 in england.

meanwhile the kiwis will arrive in november and will play a three-day tour game against pakistan ‘a’ in sharjah from november 5 to 7. abu dhabi will host the first test from november 11 to 15. the second test will be in dubai from november 19 to 23. sharjah will host the third test from november 27 to december 1.

the lone t20 international will be played in dubai on december 5.

after that the teams will engaged over five odis starting with the first one in dubai on december 8. sharjah will host two odis on december 12 and 14. the last two odis will be played in abu dhabi on december 17 and december 19.

the last time new zealand toured pakistan was in 2003-04. the last time the two teams met in a series was in 2010-11 when pakistan had toured new zealand. they had played three t20 internationals two tests and six odis.
