(MENAFN) The path of Fiat Chrysler, the Italian automaker, outside the country has underlined the weakness of the country's industrial system which needs a "solid vision", Xinhua reported.
CEO of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles revealed the five-year plan the newly merged automaker is adopting, aiming to see a combined production of around seven million autos per year by 2018.
It is noted that the automaker has been working on this fusion as a rescue operation backed by the U.S. government, resulting in ranking it the world's seventh largest automaker since Fiat bought a stake in Chrysler in 2009, before taking a full ownership of it last January.
