Community College of Qatar Celebrates 3rd Batch Graduation


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) ha May 07 - HE Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani the Vice-Chairperson of Supreme Education Council (SEC) on Wednesday attended the ceremony organized by the Community College of Qatar (CCQ) for the graduation of the 123 third batch of students who have been awarded the Associate Diploma degree.

The ceremony held at the Cultural Village (KATARA) was attended by a number of dignitaries including HE Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani HE the Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr. Mohamed Abdulwahid Al-Hammadi Vice-Chairman of Qatar Petrochemicals Company (QAFCO) Dr. Mohamed Al-Mulla and President of CCQ Dr. Ibrahim Saleh Al-Nuaimi in addition to students' families and CCQ faculty.

In a speech at the ceremony Dr. Mohamed Al-Mulla expressed pleasure over the graduation of the CCQ third batch saying that it is one of the important educational institution in Qatar.

Dr. Ibrahim Al-Nuaimi congratulated the graduates on obtaining the Diploma from CCQ which paved the way for their academic and career paths.

After getting this certificate the graduates can go to university to get a bachelor's degree in or outside the State of Qatar he said adding that they can enter the labor market equipped with necessary knowledge.

He stressed that the college will continue its efforts through the next stage towards realizing the aspirations of the Qatari youth and the national institutions through introducing more programs that provide educational opportunities which are currently not available in Qatar.

Dr. Al-Nuaimi extended thanks to HE the prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nassir bin Khalifa Al Thani and to HE SEC Vice-Chairperson HE Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani for their unlimited support to the CCQ their confidence in the role it plays in the under graduate education and removing all hardships hindering its progress.
