Qatari Cultural Days to Kick Off Friday in Belgium


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) r/>Doha May 07 - Qatari Cultural Days will start on Friday and will continue until May 13 in the Belgian capital Brussels and will be also moved to Luxembourg in the presence of HE Minister of Culture Arts and Heritage Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari and Belgian Culture Minister Fadila Laanan.

The importance of holding cultural events in Belgium comes within the keenness of the State of Qatar to extend bridges of communication with the European world especially since Belgium hosts the headquarters of the European Union as well as many other major international organizations such as the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and therefore these days will be an opportunity for many important figures and European and Western nationalities to know about Qatar's culture.

The Qatari cultural days in Luxembourg will also be held in the presence of the two countries' Culture Ministers.

The Qatari Ministry of Culture Arts and Heritage is Keen in these events to present a panorama of the economic political and social development in Qatar in addition to the elements and components of the cultural scene through live performances of traditional crafts fine arts exhibitions that will include a number of paintings reflect the development of the country an exhibition of the most important versions of books and many folkloric performances.
